Be present,

be the best ONLY choice.

Many brand-speak-esque guides go straight to the downloads folder—because many of them are useless. They don’t change anything. I get it, as someone who currently has a downloads folder on this computer with far too many downloads I have yet to read. But I don’t want to read them, and you don’t have to either. So I limited myself to one page, one page that shows you how to position yourself, not only by taking note of the things that make your business unique, but also showing you how to utilize it in the real world.

One-Page Positioning

Here is what you get:

Clarity, because when you position yourself, you set yourself apart from others, not by competing, but by merely drawing the right people by showing up, explaining yourself, and telling stories.

  1. Position Yourself as “Present”

    1. Get clear on where you are present

    2. Get clear on who you present with

  2. Position Yourself as the “Best Choice”

    1. Explain yourself clearly—don’t get hung up on your elevator pitch.

    2. Walking the talk: build trust by living your values.

    3. Craft stories to tell, stories to ask, and new stories to make.

This framework can be applied to multiple scenarios, but for the sake of making it actionable to you, I have applied it to in-person/virtual events where you need to give elevator pitches, shake hands, and make an impression in a room full of busy people.
